QTS Acquires Herakles Data Center in Northern California

Data center leader now delivers colocation, cloud and DR capacity in Sacramento
ATLANTA (January 3, 2013) – QTS (Quality Technology Services), one of the nation's largest and fastest-growing providers of data center facilities and managed services, today announced that it has completed the acquisition of Herakles, a world-class designed and engineered Internet Data Center facility in Northern California. This state-of-the-art 92,000 square foot, Tier III data center offers 52,600 square feet of raised floor space and 9.0 megawatts (MW) of power capacity in seismically-neutral Sacramento. The terms of the acquisition were not announced. 

With the acquisition of Herakles, QTS expands its footprint in California to three wholly owned and operated premium facilities. The Herakles facility will be fully integrated into QTS' data center portfolio as the QTS Sacramento Data Center.
