For the second year in a row, Travis Wright, Site Director at QTS’ Dallas-Fort Worth data center, was named to The Dallas 500 – a list of North Texas’ most influential business leaders compiled by the editors of D CEO, a publication of D Magazine.
QTS has achieved 3.1 PCI DSS and AOC compliance for colocation at its Dallas data center. The Dallas-Fort Worth mega data center is QTS’ fourth 3.1 PCI DSS compliant center.
The hyperscale cloud provider selected QTS in early 2016 to provide more than 20,000 square feet and four megawatts of power. The new agreement dramatically increases the company’s usage to a total of 40,000 square feet and eight megawatts of power at the LEED Gold certified QTS Dallas-Fort Worth mega data center. The rapid pace of expansion was driven by the fast growing use of cloud services, coupled with QTS’ ability to quickly scale to its clients’ needs.
QTS today announced availability of its highly scalable and secure Enterprise Cloud service in the QTS Dallas-Fort Worth mega data center. Previously, the enterprise-class cloud service was available exclusively in the QTS Atlanta-Suwanee and QTS Santa Clara data centers. With the addition of this service in the Dallas-Fort Worth location, QTS customers gain additional geographic diversity and redundancy options.
QTS has received Federal Information Security Management Act (FISMA) High Authorization and Accreditation at its Dallas-Fort Worth data center for physical and environmental services. FISMA requires each federal agency to develop, document and implement an agency-wide program to provide security for the information systems and data that support its operations, including the systems of government contractors.
