Federally focused Cloud Service Provider   MRR: $23,000

When Windstream needed data center provider to house a newly formed partnership with a Federally focuses Cloud Service Provider, they turned to QTS.

Windstream was initially planning to support the CSP from their McLean, VA data center.  However, when the aging data center was purchased by Zayo earlier this year, Windstream account executive Mark Thompson took the opportunity to engage QTS.

Having seen QTS’ mega- data center in Richmond, VA, they were familiar with the quality of the facility and the high level of layered security offered there.  Their customer required a highly compliant cage in which to stand up a secure federal cloud and QTS Richmond fit the bill.

QTS worked closely with Windstream and their partner to positioning the Richmond data center as an ideal location to satisfy their requirements, and also proposed and secondary site at QTS Dulles.

QTS Sales and the Partner worked effectively together to swiftly address the customer’s need and close this deal.
