Systems Integrators Gather for Federal Networking Reception

On February 11, more than 75 federal systems integrators and other service providers from the DC Metro area gathered at the Tower Club in Vienna, VA to hear about the growing portfolio of IT infrastructure solutions offered by QTS. Attendees enjoyed food and drinks while they networked and learned about expanded set of QTS offerings following the acquisition of Carpathia in June 2015.

During the reception, QTS’ Chief Product Officer Peter Weber talked about the successful partnerships the company has formed across the beltway, and how critical they are to QTS’ support of the missions of public sector agencies.

Weber also spoke about the unique portfolio of services QTS offers, ranging from FedRAMP compliant hybrid cloud to raw colocation.

“We can do all that in a compliant manner better than any company in the sector,” Weber told attendees.

Weber added that he’s excited the company is able to layer its integrated suite of services in conjunction with the company’s approximately five million square feet of data center space, including two federally-focused locations in Dulles and Richmond, Virginia.

Stu Fleagle, Vice President of Government Solutions at QTS, also spoke at the reception, which was cosponsored by Vormetric, Carahsoft and VMware. Fleagle touched on the demand from customers for innovative solutions.

“Our collective customers are asking for innovative solutions and asking us to be innovative not only in what we produce, but also in how they buy those services,” Fleagle said.
