Chicago Data Center to Bring QTS' Product Mix to Windy City
In July 2014, QTS purchased the Chicago Sun-Times’ former printing plant in downtown Chicago. Now, QTS is nearly finished with Phase 1 of transforming the 317,000-square-foot facility into a state-of-the-art data center facility that will bring our operational excellence and premium customer experience to Chicago.
For years, Chicago’s central location has made it a center for financial services, healthcare, technology and other industries. Our new data center, which sits next to Chicago’s high-demand downtown corridor, brings QTS’ product mix of custom data centers, colocation and cloud and managed services to the Chicago data center market.
Inside the 30-acre facility on South Ashland Avenue is 128,000 square feet of raised floor capacity. In addition, the Chicago Data Center will include best-of-breed security to ensure the safety of the data within, including two-factor biometric authentication and a 24x7x365 on-site security staff.
So why should businesses partner with QTS for their data solutions? Quite simply, because QTS offers a complete set of core data center products. Our custom data centers, colocation solutions and cloud and managed services provide the scale, flexibility and security that companies need to support the rapidly evolving demands of today’s web and IT applications.
While our products are cutting edge, it’s our people that customers talk about—our people, our culture and our dedication to attentive, consultative customer service that is unmatched in the data center industry. QTS people care about your business and its continued success.
